Abstract

Abstrak: PT. Obor Setia Indah merupakan sebuah perusahaan yang bergerak dibidang penjualan sparepart barang seperti baut, bearing, jarum, white oil dan lain-lain. Setelah mendapatkan hasil yang dicapai selama ini, PT. Obor Setia Indah masih adanya kekurangan yang didapatkan dari hasil penjualan tersebut. Adanya kendala dalam memproses transaksi penjualan barang yang masih menggunakan cara manual ataupun melalui email. Berdasarkan hasil yang telah diuraikan, PT Obor Setia Indah membutuhkan sistem informasi penjualan barang yang terkomputerisasi serta berbasis online. Dari pembuatan sistem informasi penjualan barang berbasis web bertujuan untuk membantu meningkatkan kinerja perusahaan agar pekerjaan lebih efisien, menghemat waktu, dan efektif. Metode yang digunakan pada perencanaan sistem informasi penjualan barang tersebut adalah metode waterfall.

Abstract: PT Obor Setia Indah is a company engaged in the sale of spare parts for goods such as bolts, bearings, needles, white oil and others. After getting the results achieved so far, PT Obor Setia Indah still has shortcomings from the sales proceeds. There are problems in processing goods sales transactions that are still using the manual method or via email. Based on the results that have been described, PT Obor Setia Indah requires a computerized and online-based information system for selling goods. From the creation of a web-based goods sales information system, it aims to help improve company performance so that work is more efficient, time-saving, and effective. The method used in designing the information system for the sale of these goods is the waterfall method.
