Perancangan Aplikasi Website Kasir Meja Billiard Menggunakan Laravel
Abstract
Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk merancang dan membangun aplikasi kasir berbasis website untuk pengelolaan penyewaan meja billiard menggunakan framework Laravel. Permasalahan yang diangkat dalam penelitian ini adalah ketidakefisienan serta tingginya risiko kesalahan manusia pada sistem pencatatan transaksi manual, terutama dalam perhitungan durasi dan biaya sewa. Penelitian ini menekankan pentingnya penerapan sistem terkomputerisasi untuk meningkatkan kinerja operasional dan akurasi transaksi. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah deskriptif kualitatif dengan teknik pengumpulan data berupa observasi dan wawancara. Pengembangan sistem menggunakan model Waterfall yang meliputi analisis kebutuhan, perancangan sistem, implementasi, dan pengujian. Aplikasi yang dihasilkan menyediakan fitur pengelolaan meja, pencatatan waktu otomatis, transaksi, dan laporan penjualan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa sistem mampu mengurangi kesalahan perhitungan serta meningkatkan efisiensi operasional. Kesimpulannya, penerapan aplikasi kasir berbasis Laravel penting untuk meningkatkan kualitas layanan dan akurasi transaksi pada usaha penyewaan billiard.Kata kunci: makalah sistem kasir, penyewaan billiard, framework Laravel, aplikasi web, sistem informasi
Abstract: This study aimed to design and develop a web-based cashier application for billiard table rental management using the Laravel framework. The problem addressed in this research was the inefficiency and high risk of human error in manual transaction recording systems, particularly in calculating rental duration and payment. This research emphasized the importance of implementing a computerized system to improve operational performance and transaction accuracy. The research method used was descriptive qualitative, with data collection techniques consisting of observation and interviews. System Development adopted the Waterfall model, which included requirement analysis, system design, implementation, and testing. The resulting application provided features such as table management, automatic time tracking, transaction processing, and sales reporting. The results showed that the system reduced calculation errors and improved operational efficiency. In conclusion, the implementation of a Laravel-based cashier application was important in enhancing transaction accuracy and service quality in billiard rental businesses.
